Fit & Lens Guide
Regular vs. XL: Choose Regular if standard-size sunglasses fit comfortably; consider XL if you typically need a larger frame. Cord adjustment changes tension, not frame size. Check that the rubber nose pads sit comfortably and the lenses clear your cheeks.
Adjusting the cord: Start loose, position the frame comfortably on your nose, then adjust the cord in small increments until secure without pulling the frame tightly into your face. Loosen it if you feel nose pressure.
Hot, sweaty rides: Sweat can change nose contact, even with rubber nose pads. Pause safely to wipe your nose and the pads, then readjust gently. Avoid overtightening to compensate for an uncomfortable fit.
Lenses and screens: Refugio’s lenses are non-polarized, so the polarization-related dimming that can affect phone and cycling-computer displays is not a feature of these lenses. Tint, glare, and screen brightness can still affect readability. Test your device in outdoor light before riding, and stop safely before adjusting it.
