The original frame that launched our armless revolution in 2018. A timeless aviator, The Classic is Ombraz' best-selling frame. Available in Regular and Narrow.

Ombraz armless sunglasses solve problems. Traditional sunglasses break, fall off, pinch your head, and are difficult to store. By replacing the arms with a built-in cord, Ombraz (ombra. n. shade in Italian) don't break, won't fall off, pack flat, and when worn correctly, are more comfortable than ordinary sunglasses.

Fit & Lens Guide

Regular vs. Narrow
Regular fits most adult head sizes and provides a standard aviator look. Narrow suits smaller faces or riders who prefer a closer, more tucked-in frame. When in doubt, Regular is the most versatile choice.

Dialing in the cord
The cord adjusts via the silicone toggle at the back of your head. Slide it forward to cinch the glasses snugly against your face — ideal for technical descents or any high-movement activity. Ease it back for a lighter, casual fit. The sweet spot is firm contact without pressure on your nose or temples.

Sweaty-ride fit
On hot or humid rides, slide the toggle snugger than you think you need before you start sweating — the cord holds position even as skin becomes slick. The TR-90 frame and oleophobic lens coating also help the glasses resist slipping and fogging when worn correctly.

Polarized lenses and screens
Polarized Zeiss lenses eliminate road glare and reflective surface glare, which is the main reason riders choose them. However, polarization can make certain LCD screens — including some cycling computers, GPS units, and smartphones — appear dim or blacked-out at specific viewing angles. If screen readability matters on your rides, test your device angle before heading out, or consider tilting your screen slightly to find a clear viewing angle.
